RACE APPLICATION PROCESS

The Registration Group is responsible for managing the race application process and selecting the final twelve (12) teams who will race in The Amazing Race Edmonton using a series of elimination rounds. Team selection is to the discretion of the Registration Group whom adheres to a series of criteria as a guide to select teams. Preference will be given to returning teams and early pre-registration applicants. Any applicant can be eliminated during any step in the race application process.

NEW TEAMS

New teams who have never raced in The Amazing Race Edmonton will need to complete the following steps to be considered for the race.

1. Audition Application - Click here to submit an audition application for your team. Your responses will be reviewed by the Registration Group.

2. Audition Interview - The Registration Group will contact select applicants to schedule an interview. Audition interviews are contingent on your team's responses from the audition application.

3. Audition Outcome - The Registration Group will contact successful applicants to inform them they have passed the audition process. Successful applicants will be provided a Pre-Registration Code to continue with the race application process. The outcome of an audition is contingent on your team's responses from the audition application and audition interview. Please note a non-refundable $30.00 CAD pre-registration fee must be paid by each contestant at this step in the race application process in order to receive a unique Pre-Registration Code. All payments can be made in person or by email money transfer to accounting@amazingraceyeg.ca by the specified payment deadline.

4. Pre-Registration Application - Click here to submit a pre-registration application for your team using the Pre-Registration Code provided by the Registration Group.

5. Team SelectionThe Registration Group will select the final twelve (12) qualified teams and inform them they will be racing in The Amazing Race Edmonton. Selected qualified teams will be provided a unique Registration Code to continue with the race application process. Please note a non-refundable $50.00 CAD registration fee must be paid by each contestant at this step in the race application process in order to receive a unique Registration Code. All payments can be made in person or by email money transfer to accounting@amazingraceyeg.ca by the specified payment deadline.

6. Registration Application - Click here to submit a registration application for your team using the unique Registration Code provided by the Registration Group. Only the final twelve (12) qualified teams will be allowed to complete the registration application.

RETURNING TEAMS

Returning teams who have raced in previous editions of The Amazing Race Edmonton will need to complete the following steps to be considered for the next race.

1. Race Declaration - Eligible returning teams must declare to the Registration Group if they are interested in racing in the upcoming race. Please note a non-refundable $30.00 CAD pre-registration fee must be paid by each contestant at this step in the race application process in order to receive a unique Pre-Registration Code. All payments can be made in person or by email money transfer to accounting@amazingraceyeg.ca by the specified payment deadline.

2. Pre-Registration Application - Click here to submit a pre-registration application for your team using the Pre-Registration Code provided by the Registration Group.
