The Starting Line for the 2019 edition of The Amazing Race Edmonton was at the foot of the Canadian Northern Railway Trestle. Teams were first tasked with locating an Unsponsored Roaming Gnome before travelling to the first location. The Unsponsored Roaming Gnomes were hidden in the tree lines near the railway trestle and decorated in symbols representing the literal meaning of each team’s name. Teams were only allowed to continue racing once they found their team’s designated Unsponsored Roaming Gnome.
